Brands

A brand represents the business identity behind an outreach campaign — its name, company description, and optional logo. Brands do not store email addresses, passwords, or server settings; sending credentials belong independently to Mailboxes.

Every campaign is assigned one brand and one mailbox when created. You can pair any brand with any mailbox across different campaigns.

Open Brands under Configurations in the Aimly Email sidebar and click Add Brand (or the No brands yet card if you have none):

FieldRequiredLimitUsage
Business NameYes40 charactersIdentifies the sender organization in campaign context and AI generation prompts.
Business InfoYes1,500 charactersDescribes what your company offers, target audience, and positioning for AI-generated copy.
LogoNo5 MB (PNG, JPG, GIF, WebP, SVG)Embedded inline (max-height: 80px) beneath the mailbox signature on outgoing emails.

Editing and limits

  • Updating brand details — editing a brand's name, business info, or logo updates future email generation and outgoing messages for campaigns tied to that brand without affecting past sent mail.
  • Immutable campaign binding — once a campaign is created, its assigned brand cannot be changed. To use a different brand, create or clone a new campaign and select the target brand during setup.
  • Plan limits — your subscription tier caps how many active brands your account can hold (1 on Trial/Solo, 5 on Studio, Unlimited on Agency). Mailboxes are unlimited on all tiers.

Deleting a brand

Cascade deletion warning

Deleting a brand permanently removes every campaign associated with that brand, including all campaign templates, drafts, email history, and automation sequences. Before deletion proceeds, Aimly displays the full list of affected campaigns and requires typing the exact Business Name to confirm. Connected mailboxes and account-level leads are not deleted.
