AI Interface
AI Interface (ai.aimly.online) is a conversational workspace assistant connected directly to your Aimly account tools. Instead of navigating across separate dashboard screens, you can inspect metrics, configure campaigns, enroll leads, assemble template sequences, and trigger audits through multi-turn natural language instructions.
Prerequisite: configure an AI model key
Before sending messages in AI Interface, add an AI provider key under Integrations on the unified dashboard (aimly.online/dashboard/?tab=integrations, or Account → Integrations inside Aimly Email).
Supported providers include Gemini, Claude, OpenAI, xAI, and Custom (OpenAI-compatible or Anthropic-compatible) endpoints. See Account Integrations for supported models.
Conversation history
All threads are persisted in the left sidebar:
- Start a new chat at any time to begin a clean context.
- Resume prior threads to follow up on an earlier campaign build, lead import, or deliverability review.
- Auto-titled & editable — conversations are titled automatically from your initial request and can be renamed or deleted from the sidebar.
Supported operations
| Product area | What you can ask AI Interface to do |
|---|---|
| Email setup & configuration | List or inspect brands and mailboxes; create, update, or inspect campaigns; configure campaign content guidelines, attachments, and sending calendars; manage global settings. |
| Leads & Categories | Search, add, edit, or delete leads; create categories and tag leads; enroll or unenroll leads across campaigns; import verified contacts from completed Finder searches. |
| Templates & Automations | Create and manage saved email templates; generate campaign drafts from templates; create or update automation steps using Predefined template mode; start, pause, resume, or complete sequence executions; schedule or send queued drafts. |
| Analytics & Activity | Summarize campaign sends, confirmed reads (recorded via the recipient Confirm Email Read button), human replies, bounces, and opt-outs. |
| Deliverability Audits | Start Full audits on connected mailboxes or DNS-only audits by email address, inspect section scores and DNS findings, or review historical health trends. |
Browser-cookie key boundary and workarounds
For security, your third-party AI and Web Search API keys are stored in AES-256-GCM encrypted HttpOnly browser cookies rather than persisted in Aimly's backend database. While AI Interface reads your AI key directly from your browser session to run the chat assistant itself, internal tool calls executed over the MCP bridge do not forward browser cookies to downstream generators.
As a result, three browser-key-dependent actions cannot be invoked through AI Interface (or external MCP Server clients) and return 400 Bad Request if requested directly:
| Browser-only action | Supported AI Interface workflow |
|---|---|
Generating AI-written email copy from scratch (plain or html AI mode) | Ask AI Interface to create or update a Campaign Template using {{lead_name}} and {{company_name}}, then generate emails from that template. |
| Creating Personalized with AI automation steps | Ask AI Interface to configure automation steps in Predefined template mode with explicit subject and body text (or generate AI steps directly in the Automations UI). |
| Starting a brand-new Finder web search, resuming a stopped or failed one, or running Optimize on a brief | Launch or resume searches in the Finder UI, then ask AI Interface to check completed searches and import their accepted leads into campaigns. |
Best practices for reliable execution
- Reference exact names — specify the exact campaign, brand, category, or mailbox name when your workspace contains similarly named resources.
- Ask for dry-run inspection before destructive changes — before deleting leads or marking active automations complete, ask AI Interface to list matching records and counts first.
- Chain multi-step setup in one prompt — for example: "Create a campaign named 'Q4 Logistics' using the Acme brand and sales@acme.com mailbox, create a 2-step template sequence spaced 3 days apart, and enroll all leads in the 'Midwest Brokers' category."
