Yahoo

Yahoo requires an app password rather than your regular account password, since Yahoo doesn't support direct sign-in for third-party apps like Aimly.

Steps

1. When creating or editing a brand, select Yahoo as the email provider.
2. Enter your Yahoo email address, then continue to the next page.
3. On the next page, enter your Yahoo app password.

Getting a Yahoo app password

You'll need two-step verification turned on for your Yahoo account before you can generate an app password. Once that's on:

1. Sign in to your Yahoo Account Security page.
2. Under "External connections," select Create app password (or Generate and manage app passwords).
3. Enter a name (e.g. "Aimly") and click Generate password.
4. Copy the generated password — Yahoo only shows it once.

Paste that password into Aimly's app password field to complete the connection.
