Finder
Finder searches the web to discover leads matching a description you give it, instead of you sourcing and entering them manually. It builds an isolated, downloadable result set that you review before bringing any of it into your actual leads list.
Before you start: connect your search providers
Finder needs at least one web search provider and one AI provider configured before it can run:
Web search providers (at least one required):
- Tavily
- Firecrawl
- Apify
- Bettercrawl
AI provider (required):
- An LLM API such as Gemini, used to interpret your search brief and extract structured lead data from what the search providers return.
If you have more than one web search provider configured, Finder can fall back to another one automatically if a provider runs out of quota mid-search — see the usage notes in Leads for details on that behavior.
Describing what you're looking for
Click Start finding leads to open the search dialog, and describe who you want to reach in the Search brief field — for example:
Find B2B SaaS leads in the UK with 10–100 employees, and decision-makers responsible for sales or growth.
The more specific your brief — industry, company size, geography, role — the better Finder's results, since it's matching against your actual wording rather than guessing at intent. If you're not sure your brief is well-written, click Optimize to have it refined automatically before running the search.
Search options
Alongside your brief, set:
- Leads — how many leads you want Finder to find (default 25).
- Lead Info — toggle on to have Finder gather extra background on each company it finds.
- Phone Number — toggle on to have Finder attempt to find a phone number for each lead.
- Address — toggle on to have Finder attempt to find a physical address for each lead.
Each additional toggle adds research time per lead, since Finder has to look up more than just a name and email — only turn on what you'll actually use.
Running the search
Click Start finding leads to begin. Only one search can run per account at a time. If a search stalls or returns fewer leads than expected, you can review why before starting a new one — often it's worth resuming a stalled search rather than starting fresh, since resuming continues from where it left off instead of restarting from zero.
Getting results into your campaigns
A Finder search only builds a standalone result set — it doesn't automatically appear in your leads or any campaign. To actually use what it found:
- Import the results into your leads, optionally straight into a specific campaign. Every email is re-verified at import time, so a lead that looked valid when found can still get filtered out if something's changed since.
- Download the results as a CSV if you'd rather review or edit the list yourself before uploading it via Leads → CSV Upload.
Before running a brand-new search, it's worth checking whether a past search already has unimported leads sitting there — that costs no search budget at all.
